The Bucks Spark: George Hill

In the absence of Bucks guard Malcolm Brogdon, George Hill has come to shine in the playoffs for the Bucks. The mid-season acquisition for the Bucks has stepped up to a bigger role in the playoffs. Hill is averaging 11 points 3 rebounds and 3 assists a game in the playoffs compared to his regular season numbers of 7 points 3 rebounds and 2 assists a game. In addition, he is shooting 54% from the field including 40% from 3 and an eFG% of 61%. In Game 3 vs the Celtics Hill put up 21 points while shooting 75% from the field.

The veteran guard has provided a great spark off the bench for the Bucks. When Malcolm Brogdon returns the Bucks’ bench will get even deeper. Hill’s consistent performances will be key for the Bucks continuing through the playoffs. Once Brogdon returns the Bucks backcourt will be one of the deepest in the playoffs with Eric Bledsoe, Khris Middleton, George Hill, Pat Connaughton, and Tony Snell.
