The Tribe has been steady all season, sitting at 25-20 and 4.5 games back of the Minnesota Twins in the AL Central and are having a fairly normal season. The staple of this years Indians team has revolved around pitching all year. They started off with the most prolific starting line-up in the majors but after a few crucial injuries, they’ve been brought down a few notches. Up until the most recent series with the Baltimore Orioles pitching provided a way to snag wins despite the pitiful hitting performance, but things could be trending in a different direction after the most recent series.
Up until last week, the Indians had knocked in double-digit runs ONCE all season, luckily they managed over 10 runs twice against the Orioles burying them 10-0 and 14-7 with the tribe walking away with a 3-1 series win over the Orioles.
This could be the turning point of the Indians season, with Kluber and Clevinger well on their way to returning to the starting line-up, and a line-up that seems to have remembered how to hit, they could be looking to close that 4.5 game gap very quickly and send us into the tribe frenzy Indians fans are used to come June and July.
