The main reason the Cubs are in a dogfight for first place in the NL Central is their bullpen. They have 8 blown saves in July and many relievers have struggled lately. They have acquired Craig Kimbrel and Derek Holland but need more help. Here are 3 bullpen arms that could help the Cubs Bullpen:

Will Smith

Smith has 24 saves on the years for the Giants and has a 2.44 ERA. Smith was an all-star this year. The price for Smith maybe a little too high for the Cubs but if they can pull it off it would be a great get for the Cubs.

Ken Giles

The right-hander is having a dominant year this year. He owns a 1.54 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 35 innings pitched. Giles also has World Series experience with the Astros

Tony Watson

The lefty has lots of postseason experience and has a 2.68 ERA this season. He only has 5 walks on the year and would provide a valuable strike-thrower out of the bullpen.
