The Clippers Have One Last Move

Way back in July after the Kawhi Leonard and Paul George dust was settling, many questions were arising about how the Clippers would fill out the rest of the roster. After basically retaining most of the team and adding of Moe Harkless and Patrick Patterson, the only glaring need is a true big. Ivica Zubac is a young player with great potential, but we don’t know if he is ready to get NBA starting minutes over the course of an 82 game season.

In regards to all of that, Montrezl Harrell posted a cryptic message on Instagram following the big free agency signings:

Since then, nothing has come of this post besides maybe the Ty Lue signing. I certainly wouldn’t consider that something to be scared of.

ClipCast claimed early this morning on Twitter that the news may break this week. Are they the most reliable source? No. We should take this with a grain of salt, although they did break the news on the brand new stadium. This could be something to seriously look forward to.

Here is the thread from ClipCast:

Here are some of the big names still on the free agency board that could help the Clippers:

Anthony, Carmelo

Chriss, Marquese

Crawford, Jamal

Faried, Kenneth

Livingston, Shaun

Noah, Joakim

In my opinion, none of these players would make the Clippers over the edge “scary,” meaning maybe an unexpected trade or out of the box signing could be upon us.

Time will tell.
